OUR HISTORY

For over a century, CIGNYS has been a trusted provider of quality metal solutions, serving the American manufacturing industry. As we look ahead to another hundred years, we remain committed to exceeding expectations with our products and services.

Founded in 1919 in Saginaw, Michigan, as a stamping and tool & die company, CIGNYS initially served the automotive industry. When World War II emerged, we quickly adapted to the country's needs, designing and producing more than 18,000 trailers and various fixtures to support the war effort. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of our evolution. Over time, we expanded further into the automotive industry while also establishing a strong presence in defense, aerospace, energy, and chemical sectors, becoming a trusted name across multiple industries.
